Answers to the questions we hear most about choosing, planning, and building your rig.

Choosing Your Build

Which vehicles do you build on?

We build on Mercedes-Benz Sprinters, Ford Transits, and Ram ProMasters. Tell us the vehicle you own or are considering, and we’ll help you choose a layout that fits. The Den uses the Sprinter 170; The Nest uses a Sprinter cutaway with a composite habitat.

Which platform is right for me?

Start with your crew, gear, and travel plans. A shorter van can suit weekend trips and easier parking, while a longer platform gives you more room for extended travel. The Nest adds interior height, width, and exterior storage. We’ll talk through the trade-offs with you.

Do I need to own a vehicle before getting started?

No. You can inquire before buying. If you need a vehicle, we help with sourcing and coordinate the required upfit options with a dealership. For The Den and The Nest, we provide the vehicle requirements and help you work with our Mercedes representative. Vehicle scope and cost are confirmed separately in your quote.

Can I choose my own layout and finishes?

Yes. For a custom build, we plan sleeping, seating, storage, and an interior shower—or no interior shower—around your needs. You select cabinetry, walls, ceiling, upholstery, flooring, and countertops with our team. After reserving your build, we review samples and complete the finish selections together.

What comes standard?

A full kitchen, power and water systems, Rixens Hydronic Heating, and Cruise N Comfort AC are part of the foundation of our custom builds. Each model has its own equipment list. The pricing page shows what’s included and which additions are available.

Pricing & Scheduling

Where do build prices start?

Custom buildouts start at $137,000. The Den buildout is $159,000, and The Nest has a published MSRP of $307,000. Vehicle scope, add-ons, tax, and delivery are reviewed in your quote. Use the pricing page to explore equipment and put together an estimate.

Is my online estimate the final price?

The online estimate totals the published base price and your selected add-ons. We review vehicle fitment, layout, finishes, and any separately quoted work with you before preparing your official QuickBooks invoice.

How long does a build take?

Build work typically takes 8–12 weeks. That is the time in the shop, separate from the scheduling lead time. Your layout, vehicle, and final scope can affect the timeline; we confirm the plan with you before work begins.

When is your next available build slot?

Availability changes as builds are reserved. Send an inquiry with your ideal timing, and we’ll let you know the next available slot.

How do I reserve a build, and when are payments due?

Start with an inquiry, followed by an estimate and a phone call. A $10,000 deposit then reserves your build slot. The payment schedule is 50% due 60 days before the build and the remaining balance due 14 days before pickup. Your invoice confirms the amounts, reservation terms, and how the deposit is applied.

Can I finance my build?

Financing is arranged through a lender, and availability depends on your vehicle, build, and application. Let us know early if you plan to finance so we can discuss the documentation and timing needed for your quote.

Working With Voyager

Can you work with me if I live out of state?

Yes. Many of our customers travel to Colorado Springs or arrange vehicle transport. We coordinate drop-off and pickup with you and share photos and video-call updates during the build.

What happens after I send an inquiry?

We prepare an estimate and set up a phone call to discuss it. Once your slot is reserved, we help source a vehicle if needed, work through your finish selections, and confirm the remaining details before the build begins.

Can I visit the shop?

Yes—contact us to arrange a visit. We’re at 11665 Ridgeline Dr, Unit 180, Colorado Springs, CO 80921. Our hours are Monday–Friday, 9am–4pm.
